Trendspotting: Lady-like Black & Red

Loving the lady-like looks in the classic combo of black and red lately!

There's the classic black dress with a skinny red belt as seen on Dianna below, or the same idea inverted, as on Garcelle:

Or you can wear red and black patterns, such as the polka dot on Reese or the abstract graphic on Claire, both surprisingly muted:

Either way, the classically lady-like shapes and conservative cuts ensure that this look stays appropriate for the workplace.  If you want to play this up with accessories, you can veer from the standard black pump to a more colorful red one (like on Reese above), or even something crazier like the leopard print bootie on Garcelle.  I know it can be hard to look stylish when getting dressed at 7am everyday, but having outfits like these standing by in your closets makes life easy.
