Style Idol: Michelle Monaghan

Michelle Monaghan, of Gone Baby Gone, Made of Honor, and most recently The Source Code fame, may not be the most well-known actress, but she has certainly made an impression on me style-wise.  While managing to stay somewhat conservative, she always manages to have fun with different shapes, cuts, and colors.  Take a look:

Some of her more work-appropriate looks:
From left:  in a bright Versace dress and blush heels; in a silk Tory Burch wrap dress with a Coach clutch; in a sleek taupe Roland Mouret dress with a python envelope clutch, sapphire bangles and burgundy suede Brian Atwood pumps.
I particularly love her Tory Burch shirtdress... I've been trying to find a similar one everywhere, but I just can't seem to find one that fits right.  The red Versace is too short and the beige Roland Mouret may be too much, but they would both look great in the workplace with just a little simplification.

Great weekend looks:
From left: in a chiffon print Isabel Marant dress with a Lanvin chain necklace and suede booties; in an ochre Isabel Marant shirtdress and nude heels; in a scalloped linen dress and patent leather Louboutins.
I love all three of these looks; the printed dress is lovely, the beige shirtdress looks so comfy, and the white seems perfect for a date night.

Formal gatherings:
From left: in a silk Roksanda Ilincic sheath and black satin Brian Atwood heels; in a sleek Versace LWD and the label's pointy-toe heels ; in a sculpted teal Roksanda Ilincic design with crisscross sandals and a geometric Jimmy Choo clutch.
These three dresses are severe and sexy, and not everyone can pull off so much look, but she does with aplomb.

She is definitely a Style Idol in my eyes.
