Trendspotting: Denim on Denim

Wearing denim-on-denim has been frowned upon since that unforgettable moment when then-couple Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears showed up at the 2001 American Music Awards wearing matching Canadian tuxedos (don't pretend you don't remember what outfits I'm talking about). But, lo and behold, it appears the solid jean suit is experiencing a major re-emergence — and it appears Chloe, Ralph Lauren, and D&G, respectively, agree:

The Canadian tux is no longer a fashion faux pas, but a cheeky and utilitarian nod to the past. Peep these celebs who wear it in real life:
