Anne Hathaway always manages to look lovely, wearing flattering ensembles in classic shapes. While perusing my gossip blogs, I came across this picture and thought how wonderful that dress would look in the office:
Her black patent leather pumps and single gold bangle really highlight how great of a work dress this could be - throw on a black blazer and you are a force to be reckoned with. I fancied it, but I knew I likely could never afford it.
So, after searching all my favorite shopping sites, the closest I came to finding a duplicate was from Forever 21:
I think it looks perfect: it has a similar pattern, color scheme and cut as the one Anne Hathaway rocked. I particularly like the smocked waist and ruffle trim, though I would be sure to style it more like Anne so that it's better suited for the office.
