Style Idol: Jennifer Aniston

Although I am by no means the first to acknowledge Jennifer's fantastic personal style, it's worthy of any attention she receives.  Her outfits tend to be a bit short, but with a couple of inches added to the bottom and occasionally a blazer on top, any of these looks would work wonderfully in the workplace.  Take a look:

She tends to stick to classics like basic black:

Charcoal grey:

classic white:

pencil skirts with fitted tops:
From left: in a v-neck sweater, gunmetal pencil skirt and strappy sandals; in an olive pencil skirt and sleeveless button down with nude pumps; in a gray tank, black pencil skirt and black cardigan with metallic pumps.

Occasionally, she mixes it up, such as with a fun floral pattern or a chunky boot:
From left: in a floral Balenciaga dress, black tights and Christian Louboutin platform suede Mary Janes; in a blue shirt-dress with black detailing and black sling backs; in a black trench over a camel mini skirt with chunky brown boots.

The running thread throughout this is that she always looks fantastic.  Jennifer knows what styles, shapes and designers work for her and she doesn't stray far - have you noticed how often she's wearing a tight, short skirt and peep-toe pumps?? She even sticks to her favorite shoes!  But, although she's remarkably consistent, she still manages to have fun with her wardrobe by adding an unexpected piece occasionally, never taking herself too seriously.  Let that be a lesson - if Jen sticks with what works, then maybe so should we!
