Outfit Infatuation: Emma Roberts

In case you couldn't tell, I'm loving pieces in bold prints and styles lately (as recently discussed here, here and here), and Emma's suit is no exception:
Emma Roberts in Nanette Lepore jacquard-print separates with black-trimmed lapels, a white blouse with sheer panels, a red Claire Vivier clutch and patent leather Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.
While this look is not for everybody, it does work amazingly well on Emma. I like the simple styling, since committing to a head-to-toe print like this means you should keep everything else as simple as possible so as to not overwhelm. However, though her slick side-parted bun works well, I think she would have looked even better had she worn her hair loose to balance out the menswear influence.

What does Emma Roberts herself think about Nanette Lepore? " I'm a huge fan. I think she does such a great job of doing clothes for young people and older people. I love the way she uses color and prints, and I think she really knows how to capture femininity." If the above outfit is any indication, I couldn't agree more.

Here is a similar style so that you can make this look your own:
TOPSHOP Lace Shadow Skinny Trousers, $80.00, and Blazer, $136.00.

  1. I love cropped pants for work! It is perfect for Florida and a great way to show off your shoes :)
Can't wait to buy the black Pigalle pumps one day - on my shopping bucket list.
