Covet: Prabal Gurung for Target

Like most, I frequently covet super-expensive items from designers I simply can't afford.  That's why I get so excited when a big time designer does a collection for mass-market stores.  The latest is Prabal Gurung for Target, and it is AWESOME. Here are a few of my favorite looks from his collection:

Prabal Gurung, best known for his dressing of celebrities and royalty, such as Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama and Jennifer Lawrence, says that a partnership with Target is one he had always hoped for. "They really set the bar for designer collaborations and do a stellar job with each and every one," he recalled.  "After having a wonderful experience working with Target on the Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection, it gave me a taste of what the partnership would be like, and I was excited to work with them on my own collection. I am also a big believer that collaborations are important to remaining fresh and relevant in the fast-moving world of fashion!"

Before you miss your chance (a Missoni for Target sellout situation is quite likely), mark your calendars for February 10, and be sure to get there bright and early!
