Trendspotting: Louis Vuitton Checkerboard

Louis Vuitton’s checkerboard pattern from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection has really been a hit amongst the most fashionable celebrities!

From left: Kerry Washington wore it in cream and nude; Jessica Alba wore it in black and white; Hailee Steinfeld chose a romper in the pattern; Kirsten Dunst wore the rusty brown version.

It is definitely a bold and graphic look that might be hard for most to wear, especially when worn head to toe.  Instead, use the style as inspiration and only get a top or bottom in the pattern, which you can easily wear with simple basics to make it workplace-appropriate.
