Trendspotting: Matching Separates

The Fall/Winter runway shows were all about bold, mixed prints, but the upcoming season has a much more matchy-matchy appeal.  Matching separates have been popping up everywhere, and this less challenging look has been especially popular in light colors and simple patterns:
From left: Olivia Wilde in sequin embroidered L’Wren Scott separates with a velvet clutch, Iwona Ludyga Design flag bracelet, PearlParadise.com ring, gold House of Lavande bangle and bowed Louboutins; Kate Hudson in striped 3.1 Phillip Lim separates and suede Casadei platforms; Emma Stone in Daniel Vosovic's colorblock separates, opal Jamie Wolf hoops, a gold Melinda Maria ring and leather Rupert Sanderson pumps.
If a head-to-toe like Kate's is too much for you, instead look for a style that carries the same color scheme throughout to get the same effect, similar to Emma's.  Either way, it looks great and takes the guess work out of getting dressed in the morning.
